TJL · Prepared for Red Sea Global

Off the grid, never in the dark.

Saudi deep tech for The Red Sea's power, transfers, crews and plants: models that forecast the day and help each team decide.

November 2026

Who we are

We build tools for the people running the operation.

TJL is a Saudi deep-tech company working in three sectors: energy, mobility and defence. We build the algorithms and the hardware they run on, here in the Kingdom.

Our strength is the team behind the technology.

PhD-led expertise in electrical engineering, operations research, AI, control and embedded systems. We connect the data, build the model and test whether the recommendation helps on the ground.

The Red Sea in general

The wider job: keep a growing destination in balance.

As resorts and islands open, three jobs grow with the destination. Each is a place where a good model saves time and guesswork.

28,000 km²destination on the Kingdom's west coast
90+islands, most of them left untouched
1Mvisitors a year at most, by design

Off-grid energy

Off the grid, the sun has to cover the night too.

With no grid to fall back on, every day is a balance: solar by day, the battery after dark, and every new load has to fit both.

Every off-grid day is planned the day before. We help plan it.

The guest journey

From the runway to the room, every leg has to meet the next.

A guest lands, rides an electric car, then a boat or a seaplane to the island, while staff change shifts on the same roads. When one leg slips, the next one waits.

  1. 1

    Before landing

Flight times, bookings, and the cars and boats they need.

  2. 2

    On the road

The right car, charged, at the right door.

  3. 3

    On the water

A boat or a seaplane, timed to the car, the wind and the sea.

What to watch: guest waiting time, cars charged and ready, arrivals on time.

We join flight times, bookings, charge levels and sea conditions into one transfer plan, alongside the systems already in place.

Our portfolio

Six tools, each for a question your teams already ask.

Each one starts small: one team and one job. Record today's result, try the change, then compare.

FleetMind · fleet work

“The flight is 40 minutes late. What can this car do instead?”

FleetMind brings fleet operations, EV charging and route planning together. Here is how it helps a dispatcher when a transfer cannot start.

  1. 1

    A transfer cannot start

The car is due at arrivals, but the flight is running late.

  2. 2

    Check the next job

Charge level, location, timing and the right vehicle.

  3. 3

    Offer a revised plan

Suggest another ready job, or a charge in the sunny hours. The dispatcher decides.

MASAR · passage planning

“The wind is rising. Which crossing keeps guests comfortable and on time?”

MASAR plans each passage around wind, waves and currents, with a fuel and speed model fitted to each hull, and scores every trip against the plan.

  • Weather-routedLive wind, wave and current forecasts, and four plans for every trip: least time, balanced, calm passage and least fuel.
  • Fitted to each hullFuel and speed learned from the boat's own logs, not a generic curve.
  • Every trip scoredThe plan beside what the boat actually did: time, fuel and sea state.

Where it fits at The Red Sea: guest boats, supply vessels and yachts moving between the mainland, the marinas and the islands.

RASAN · remote driving

“Can the driver do this from a safe distance?”

RASAN lets a person drive a vehicle remotely, through the steering wheel and pedals it already has. The driver stays out of harm's way; the vehicle moves exactly as they command.

  • DemonstratedRemote vehicle control over a radio link, up to 2 km, without internet. A person drives; the vehicle does not drive itself.
  • Fits the vehicle you haveA motor turns the steering wheel and actuators press the pedals. The airbag centre stays clear and the driver's seat stays free.
  • Where it fits at The Red SeaTrials of new vehicles before they join the fleet, and first runs on rough desert routes, with the operator outside the vehicle.

    Qareen · plant digital twin

A digital twin of the plant, machine by machine.

Qareen mirrors a plant's machines and utilities, and simulates how each one runs and the energy it draws. When the plant delivers the same output but uses more energy, the twin shows why, and a change can be tried in the twin before it reaches the plant.

Where it fits at The Red Sea: central plants such as district cooling, desalination and laundry, where machines, schedules and energy are tied together.

    Utility Twin · off-grid planning

“Can the system take the next resort, and still get through the night?”

Test a new connection on the model before it reaches the network: the feeder at its peak, and the battery after dark.

    What we would need

The network layout, solar and battery ratings, measured demand and the new resort's expected load, to build and check the model.

    What the team could compare

Normal and summer days, the peak hour and the night: where a feeder nears its limit, how much battery is left at dawn, and which options deserve engineering review.
